How to Measure Your Fire Pit

Measure the outside of your fire pit before choosing a cover. Include the full tabletop or outer rim, not just the fire bowl opening.

Square or rectangular: length × width × height
    Round: outside diameter × height

Square or Rectangular Fire Pits

Measure the outermost edges in all three directions. For a square fire pit, the length and width may be the same.

01 / Length

Measure across the top from the farthest point on one side to the farthest point on the opposite side. Include any tabletop overhang.

02 / Width

Measure the other direction across the top, from outer edge to outer edge. Check this dimension separately from the length.

03 / Height

Measure vertically from the highest point to the ground, including the legs or base the cover needs to reach.

Round Fire Pits

For a round fire pit cover, you need two measurements: the outside diameter and the height.

01 / Outside diameter

Measure straight across the widest part of the tabletop or outer rim, passing through the center. Do not measure only the burner or bowl opening.

02 / Height

Measure from the highest point down to the ground, including the legs or base the cover needs to reach.

Choose Your Cover Size

Compare your measurements with the size options on the product page. For square or rectangular covers, check length, width and height individually. For round covers, check diameter and height. The cover must accommodate the outer dimensions of your fire pit.

If your measurements fall between sizes or your fire pit has parts that extend beyond its main shape, check the product's fit details before ordering.
