How to Measure Your Chair

Measure your chair in the position it will be covered. Include armrests, the chair back, legs, and any cushions you plan to leave in place. Measure the chair itself, not an existing cover.

For a standard chair: width × depth × height
For stacked or folded chairs: measure the full group in its covered position.

01 / WIDTH

Measure Side to Side

Measure from the outer edge of one armrest to the outer edge of the other. For an armless chair, measure across its widest points. Include any part of the frame that extends farther outward.

02 / DEPTH

Measure Front to Back

Measure from the farthest point at the back of the chair to the farthest point at the front. Include a reclining or curved back, projecting armrests, and front legs if they extend beyond the seat.

03 / HEIGHT

Measure from the Ground Up

Measure vertically from the ground to the highest point of the chair, usually the top of the backrest. If a cushion or another feature extends above it and will stay under the cover, include that in your measurement.

Choose Your Cover Size

Compare your measurements with the dimensions listed on the chair cover product page. Check width, depth, and height separately—a match in one direction does not guarantee a match in the others.

If your chair has an unusual shape, or your measurements fall between sizes, review that product’s fit details before ordering. For stacked or folding chairs, compare the cover dimensions with the entire stack or folded group, not a single chair.
